Boston's North End

We Specialize in Boston's North End And Waterfront

Our Clients’ References Are Our Best Advertising

We always love to hear from satisfied clients – this glowing reference came from a recent sale in the North End:

“4/17/2012 – We owned a high end condo in the North End with a very unique 2000 sq. ft. outdoor deck. Because it was so unique, Carmela and her staff did everything possible to make certain it sold. Their approach was always  professional, creative, timely, gracious and helpful.

They provided input on removing personal items, staging if need be, lighting, high quality photographers at the time of the day when the deck looked its best ( even if it meant 2 or 3 shootings), were candid in their assessment of value compared to the real estate market; answered and returned phone calls within minutes (even on weekends); made certian the unit was opened and closed properly before and after showings: sought advertising by having write-ups in the Wall Street Journal, Boston Home, Boston Globe; provided links on the web site to TV shows and magazines in which our home was featured; made suggestions on details that should or should not be addressed and generally were very very service oriented and customer oriented. I would use Carmela Laurella again in a heart beat.

- Karen L. Semmelman, Boston Ma”

North End to honor Cyrus Dallin and his famous Paul Revere statue at the Prado

Statue of Paul Revere in the Prado in Boston's North End

Cyrus Dallin's Paul Revere Statue

Boston’s North End / Waterfront Residents’ Association will be hosting a public fair on April 29 from 12 – 4PM at the Paul Revere Mall on Hanover Street.  This fair is being held in honor of sculptor Cyrus Dallin, his Paul Revere Monument, and the Paul Revere Mall known to locals simply as The Prado, designed by Arthur Shurcliff and Henry Shepley.

The NEWRA will present a series of lectures on Dallin, Shurcliff, and others who were responsible for creating and preserving this local treasure, among the most visited and photographed sites in the nation.  Other historical presentations will focus on Paul Revere himself, and on the history of Boston’s North End neighborhood. Members of the Cyrus Dallin and Paul Revere families are scheduled to attend.

In addition, the Old North Church will host a related lecture on Thursday, May 17th at 7:00 PM providing more in-depth historical review and an opportunity for public discussion. The featured speaker will be Rebecca Reynolds, formerly of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, who specializes in American sculpture. Reynolds’ talk will focus on Dallin’s 58 year quest to erect his Paul Revere sculpture in Boston.

Lincoln Wharf: A Story of Renewal

Find your Lincoln Wharf dream home with CL Waterfront today! Our very own Lincoln Wharf on the Boston Waterfront was featured in the WCVB-TV BOSTON feature segment, “Recycled Boston”, a series about the stories of historical buildings around Boston and how they became revitalized.

The news story delves into the building’s rich history and the architect who made its rebirth possible, Bob Verrier.

Lincoln Wharf, built in 1901, was once the power plant for the MBTA that generated the power for the once-elevated railways.  It had four large boilers that were about hundred twenty feet high, from ceiling to floor. With that much height and space, Verrier and his team envisioned the Wharf could support 10 new floors.

Through ingenuity and hardwork, they brought the wharf to life into what it is today.  Now home to nearly two hundred waterfront condos and boasting breath-taking harbor views from its windows and balconies.
